An impromtu trip to Upper Pierce Reservoir Park

Hello, everyone! Kimmi here *winks*

Haslinda & I were chatting away on msn this afternoon and we agreed that it'll be such a waste of our weekend if we just stay at home and rot/go to town (nothing fascinating about town these days anyway). Therefore, we decided to head down to Upper Pierce reservoir for yet another hike! LOL! Yes, yes, we are so addicted to outdoor trips now... A single trip to Pulau Ubin was all it took to get us hooked! The both of us tried to recruit a few other friends along but to no avail :( Ok lor, we go alone lor. I'm seriously tired right now, so I'll just post up some of the pictures that we took ok? Really no energy to blog much :(

Super steep slope!

We've finally reached!! After 40 minutes of non-stop walking (and running from monkeys!)
Oh, Happy Day!!!

MONKEY GALORE...!!!

We went cam-crazy from this point onwards

VERY S-T-R-O-N-G wind

Somehow or rather, I'm pretty sure the "Rain God" is in love with us lah. Cos everytime when we're on a hiking trip, it NEVER FAILS to pour. And this trip was NO DIFFERENT!

Just look at how dark the sky suddenly became. Omg.

Friggin' heavy downpour!!!

Haslinda went into DEPRESSION.
Can only be cured with cam-whoring & roti-prata.

Yummy yummy pratas at Casuarina Curry. HAHAHAHA!

Stay tune to the next blog-post! Haslinda will be blogging about the next ladies-only outdoor trip cum slumber-party! Do join us if you're able to, ok? We only have a few more weeks before we start working; STOP HESITATING!!

Recap Time!!!

After having a good night's rest, I bet everyone's all fresh and ready to start a new day! :D If anyone experienced any lower limb numbness/prolonged muscle aches, YOU'RE NOT ALONE! Could barely make the way back to my room after I sat down on the sofa.

The trip went well (duh, who're in the organising committee?)! Despite having to walk in the rain for approximately an hour, getting lost multiple times, scouting high & low for the path leading to Kent Ridge Park and getting our feet soaked in muddy rainwater, this trip was truly memorable! Haslinda & I are already in the midst of planning the 3rd outdoor trip but sorry guys, this time it's just for the ladies *grinz*

"Map" for the day. Credits to Haslinda!

HARBOURFRONT MRT STATION (1030 hrs)

At the foot of Mount Faber Park

Why are the only 5 people in the above pictures?! Hmm, cos apparently, the other 5 were still having their morning coffee at Godknowswhere and thus, we embarked on the journey first, agreeing to meet the others at Henderson Waves where the ice-breaking session was to take place.

When we reached Mount Faber Park.... WE GOT LOST! And we didn't even know that we were heading in the wrong direction until a kind middle-aged man asked us, "What are you guys looking for?". When we told him we wanted to head towards Henderson Waves, he pointed back up the path that we had previously walked. WAHAHAHA! Hence, he helped take a picture of us standing in front of the HUMONGOUS Henderson Waves sign which we completely missed! LOL!

And we waited for the other 5 thrill-seekers :D

ICE-BREAKING SESSION!

Did they bring an ORANGE item along?

Did they have caps?

How about Digital watches?!!!

You be the judge ;)

Continue scrolling down to see what you missed out on...

And the day ended at good ol' McDonalds :)

Sorry, can't post up all the pictures because Blogger is so irritating!! I'm experiencing problems with uploading the photos! ROARRR!!! Thank God for Facebook (which can be a bitch at certain times).
Thank you everyone for joining us on yet another adventure! Hope y'all had a jolly good time and may we meet again!!
